KingSpry education attorneys Kristine Roddick, Rebecca Young, Elizabeth Kelly, Alyssa Hicks and Paige Gross have been invited to present a number of legal trainings at the Attendance/Child Accounting Professional Association (A/CAPA) Conference on November 6, 2024.
Attorney Roddick, Chair of the KingSpry Education Law Practice Group, will discuss special education issues including “Section 504 and IEPs”. Special Education Law Practice Group Chair Rebecca Young will discuss “Attendance, Custody, Residency and Transportation.” Labor/Employment Senior Counsel Elizabeth Kelly will discuss trending issues related to “Gender” and attorneys Alyssa Hicks and Paige Gross will cover the intricacies of “Student Discipline.”
A/CAPA facilitates the distribution of critical information related to the field of child accounting by working closely with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, the PA Auditor General’s Office and other related agencies. Their mission is to provide outstanding professional development opportunities for child accounting professionals in Pennsylvania through workshops, seminars and networking events.
