The KingSpry law firm in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is proud to announce Episode Eight of their education law podcast, the Legal Lunch Room.
Each episode, our hosts invite education attorneys and school leaders to share how current education law trends and court decisions impact school boards, students and our community.
In March, we had the rare opportunity to hear first-hand what’s happening in Harrisburg from the co-chairs of the Pennsylvania House Education Committee, State Representatives Peter Schweyer and Jesse Topper. (Pictured below, with KingSpry Managing Partner Jessica Moyer who moderated the discussion.)

Over lunch with local superintendents and board presidents, the two gentlemen shared candid insights on the biggest education issues of the day. On this special episode of the Legal Lunch Room, we recap the issues discussed at the event and look at how these two men from opposite sides of the Commonwealth come together to work for Pennsylvania schools.
KingSpry Education Law Practice Group Chair Kristine Roddick joins us on the episode, to reflect on the implications of these issues for our local schools.
“Our goal with the event was to give our local school districts the opportunity to interact with policy makers, hear what they are working on, how they think, and what they prioritize when it comes to our education system in Pennsylvania,” Roddick shared. “In today’s divisive political climate, I was pleasantly surprised to hear about how much our representatives have in common… they share many core beliefs and goals about what needs to be done.”
Legal Lunch Room is produced by Steel Pixel Studios with additional audio engineering for this episode by Don Loughney. This podcast is a production of KingSpry’s Education Law Practice Group.
