Jessica F. Moyer, Attorney | KingSpry

Jessica F. Moyer

Jessica F. Moyer, a partner in KingSpry’s family law and education law departments and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, is fascinated by the law’s “ever-changing, ever-evolving” nature – and her dedication to keeping up with the latest developments shows in the way she represents her clients.

Moyer, who rejoined the firm in 2013 after establishing the Office of General Counsel for Coordinated Health, is an experienced, detail-oriented attorney with a penchant for going “above and beyond” for clients, ensuring that their legal needs are met in any situation. Regardless of the circumstances, clients trust that she can provide cogent, common sense counsel.

Moyer’s mediation- and LGBT-friendly practice includes all aspects of traditional and non-traditional family law, including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, prenuptial and property settlement agreements, child support, child custody, domestic violence, and protection from abuse. She also acts as assistant solicitor for numerous public school districts, advising school boards, directors and administrators, and appearing on their behalf before state and local administrative agencies and courts.

At Coordinated Health, Moyer represented the integrated regional hospital network in various transactional matters, including physician practice acquisitions, joint ventures, employment and real estate matters. She has also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Margherita Patti Worthington of the Court of Common Pleas of Monroe County.

Moyer, a frequent speaker and published author, is involved in the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Family Law Section, and was one of 10 Pennsylvania attorneys selected for the 2013-14 class of the PBA’s Bar Leadership Institute. In 2018, she was honored with the PBA President’s Award for her work with the association’s Good Governance Task Force.

Moyer has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer “Rising Star” by Super Lawyer Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine. She has also been named to “40 Under Forty” by Lehigh Valley Business and a Select Lawyer by her peers in the Lehigh Valley. In 2017, she was named to the list of “Select Lawyers” by Lehigh Valley Style Magazine.

She received her Juris Doctorate from Villanova University in 2004. 10 Best 2016 FLA
