KingSpry is pleased to announce partners Karley Biggs Sebia and Jonathan M. Huerta have been elevated to Equity Status in the firm effective January 1, 2023 and partner Matthew T. Tranter has been named Deputy Managing Partner of the firm.

Ms Sebia is chair of the firm’s Healthcare Professionals Legal Services group and leads KingSpry’s Wellness Initiative. Her legal practice includes business law, real estate law, landlord/tenant and affordable housing matters.
Ms. Sebia earned a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Franklin & Marshall College. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Ms. Sebia serves on the Moravian Academy Board of Trustees and the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for the Bethlehem Area School District. She is a member of CREW-LV, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the success of women in commercial real estate, and the Rotary Club of Bethlehem. She is a past chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Northampton County Bar Association and previously a member of the Northampton County Bar Association Board of Governors.
Mr. Huerta is chair of the firm’s Local Taxation and Assessment Practice Group. His legal practice includes education law and civil litigation. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law.
Mr. Huerta is the E-2 Sectional Director of the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitors Association and a member of the Executive Committee of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors. He is also a board member of the Cancer Support Community of the Lehigh Valley and the Muhlenberg Board of Associates.
Partner Matthew Tranter Elected to Executive Committee, Named Deputy Managing Partner
At the Annual Meeting of the partnership in December, attorney Matthew T. Tranter was elected to the firm’s Executive Committee and named Deputy Managing Partner of the firm.
Mr. Tranter is a partner with KingSpry and chair of the firm’s Business and Real Estate Law Practice Groups. He serves as solicitor for the Lehigh Valley Economic Investment Corp. and is also a member of the firm’s Facilities Committee.
He earned his Juris Doctor at Widener University School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Tranter is Board Chair of the Boys & Girls Club of Bethlehem, Past Chair of the American Heart Association of the Lehigh Valley and a member of the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion Board.
In his role as Deputy Managing Partner, Tranter will support the Managing Partner in running the administrative aspects of the firm.
