KingSpry is proud to announce that the firm has been named a Top Workplace for 2022 by the Morning Call.
KingSpry was among the top small businesses a fifth straight year in a list published in the April 14, 2022 edition. The law firm’s former managing partner Kristine Roddick was also honored for Leadership of a Small Company.
“I am incredibly proud of our employees and what we accomplish together, so it is gratifying to see that our efforts to promote culture, collaboration and teamwork throughout our organization have again been recognized,” said Managing Partner Jessica Moyer.
Survey participants were asked to share their opinions concerning company leadership, values, direction, communication, meaningfulness and benefits. Over 5000 Lehigh Valley workers took part; 25 companies earned a spot on the list.
“Law firms tend to be very traditional,” Moyer noted. “During the pandemic, we had no choice but to learn new ways of doing things. We were surprised that not only could we survive working remotely, but many of us are actually more productive and can manage our time better this way. We are still under a hybrid schedule and it is working great.”
Moyer says that remote work and flexibility for employees balancing young families are things that wouldn’t necessarily have been an option for workforces a generation ago, but are absolutely necessary to the workplaces of today.
Firm leadership has developed activities to promote engagement and appreciation as well, including staff roundtables, food truck visits, CLE opportunities and more.
“Our employees are the backbone of this firm,” Moyer added. “We want to show them every day that they are appreciated and play an integral role in the success of our business.”
