KingSpry is pleased to announce the launch of BarRaisers, a Future Committee initiative designed to help young professionals at the firm build stronger networks, sharpen business development skills, and grow their legal careers with purpose and support.
Rooted in the firm’s commitment to mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement, BarRaisers will create structured opportunities for emerging attorneys and professionals to connect with firm leaders, learn from client-facing experiences, develop practical relationship-building skills, and participate in programs that elevate KingSpry’s presence in the legal and business communities.
“BarRaisers reflects the kind of intentional development the Future Committee was created to advance,” said Dorota Gasienica-Kozak, Future Committee Chair and creator of BarRaisers. “Our goal is to give younger KingSpry professionals meaningful access to mentors, conversations, and opportunities that help them see where their careers can go—and how to get there.”
The initiative will include opportunities such as leadership shadowing, networking events, business development coaching, community-facing programs, and conversations with attorneys and outside leaders who can share practical guidance on career growth, client service, leadership, and professional identity.
“Strong professional networks do not happen by accident,” said Katherine Riess, Marketing Director. “BarRaisers gives our young professionals a framework for learning how to build relationships, understand the role of visibility in career development, and contribute to KingSpry’s reputation in the community.”
For KingSpry, the launch also reinforces the firm’s broader focus on recruitment, retention, collaboration, and advancement. By investing in the next generation of professionals, the firm aims to strengthen its internal culture while continuing to position itself as a regional leader in developing legal talent.
