Her professionalism and devotion to her practice has resulted in various recognitions throughout her legal career. Specifically, Ms. Tolliver-Duran was named a New Jersey Super Lawyer, “Rising Star” from 2017-2020, and a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, “Rising Star” from 2021-2024. Ms. Tolliver-Duran was also named in the National Black Lawyers Top 100 from 2021-2024 and has been honored as a “Woman of Influence” by Lehigh Valley Business.
Ms. Tolliver-Duran is strongly dedicated to serving her community, with a particular interest in organizations and activities involving youth development. She serves as a mentor with Generation Next, a college readiness program aimed towards providing underprivileged and underrepresented students with equal access to educational opportunities. Additionally, Ms. Tolliver-Duran serves as a Teacher’s Aide in the children’s ministry of her local assembly, Revolution Church. Her commitment to the youth and her community is further exemplified through her work as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University where she teaches a wide array of pre-law courses to undergraduate students.
Ms. Tolliver-Duran earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Rowan University. She is admitted to practice law in both state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

On February 18, 2025, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas lifted its own January 7, 2025 Order in Smith, et al. v. U.S. Department of the Treasury, et al., 6:24-cv-00336 (E.D. Tex.). Meaning, the CTA will take effect again, and reporting companies are required to file BOI reports with FinCEN.
