Rachel E. Sokolsky

Rachel Sokolsky focuses her practice in special education and education law.

Attorney Sokolsky primarily works with school entities handling a range of matters such as review of contracts, consults regarding student discipline, as well as collaboration and guidance for school boards. The bulk of her practice focuses on consulting with school entities on a variety of special education matters to ensure FAPE is being provided to students with disabilities.

Prior to KingSpry, Attorney Sokolsky gained experience at a Philadelphia law firm where she worked as a litigation associate. She also served an externship in the United States Attorney’s Office Eastern District.

Driven to helping others, Ms. Sokolsky volunteered with a local organization during her undergraduate schooling to help homeless residents of Allentown, and while still in law school, she performed over 50 pro bono hours volunteering with an estate planning clinic. To continue her commitment to the community, she was recently elected to the Via of the Lehigh Valley Board, a non-profit agency that provides equitable services to children and adults with disabilities to reach their full potential, and to the board of the Northern Lehigh School District Foundation.

Ms. Sokolsky graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration. She earned her Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
