KingSpry congratulates litigator Taisha Tolliver-Duran who has been named a member of the National Black Lawyers Top 100, an invitation-only professional development and networking association comprised of the top African American attorneys from across the country.
Ms. Tolliver-Duran focuses her practice in the areas of litigation and insurance defense law. Since her arrival at KingSpry, she has also been handling zoning enforcement matters, landlord-tenant issues, workers’ compensation and unemployment compensation matters.
Committed to helping others, Ms. Tolliver-Duran is a board member of Family Promise of Monroe County, an organization dedicated to preventing homeless and is a mentor with Generation Next, part of the Campaign of Racial and Ethnic Justice helping students to enroll and succeed in college.
She is also an adjunct professor of Civil Law and Litigation Practices as well as Human Rights Law and Mass Murder at Rowan University.
Tolliver-Duran earned her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law where she was named Trial Advocacy’s Best Advocate and served as Secretary of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is an active member of the Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe County Bar Associations, as well as member of the Northampton Community College Paralegal Advisory Committee.
