Service Animals in the School Setting

FreeLunch & Learn Workshop
Both Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act allow for service animals to be in school to assist students with a disability.
In this workshop, KingSpry Special Education attorney Alyssa Hicks will be discussing the practicalities and legalities of service animals including:
- the difference between service animals and support animals
- the legally-acceptable role of a service animal
- what the law says about service animals in school, their role and how to avoid liability
Participants may choose whether they wish to attend online or in person.
