How do you present a motion? How should the chair recognize speakers? What is a quorum? How closely must we follow the stated agenda?
In this session, education attorney Eric Filer will provide an introductory look at the rules and laws governing school board and other public board meetings. We will discuss Robert’s Rules of Order, the Sunshine Law, and other practical advice for ethically and effectively conducting school business.
This workshop will be held live in Greyfriars Conference Center at the KingSpry law offices in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The course is free of charge, but space is limited and registration is required. Please contact Kathy Riess at 610-332-0390 to sign up.
