Continue ReadingAttorney Modrick focuses her practice in litigation, employment, labor and education law. Primarily working with school entities, she has extensive prior experience in the public sector. Ms. Modrick handles litigation matters from beginning to end. She also reviews contracts for school entities, advises on school board related matters and consults regarding myriad issues impacting school districts.
Prior to joining KingSpry, Ms. Modrick worked in Scranton as a Deputy Attorney General. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Carbon County, an Assistant Public Defender, and a law clerk to Judge Richard W. Webb.
Ms. Modrick earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) with Honors in Trial Advocacy from Temple University, James E. Beasley School of Law, where she was the second student in program history to receive both the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Courtroom Presentation and Performance and the Edward D. Ohlbaum Award for her commitment to the Art of Trial Advocacy. Ms. Modrick received her Juris Doctor from Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and graduated from Dickinson College with a B.A. in English and a minor in Creative Writing.
A Lehigh Valley native, Ms. Modrick is an active volunteer in both her personal and professional communities. She is the a board member of the East Penn Foundation and the immediate Past President of the Friends of the Lower Macungie Library. She is also the co-founder and an attorney advisor for Jim Thorpe High School’s Mock Trial team. Ms. Modrick is a Dress for Success mentor and a member of the Emmaus Rotary Club. In 2026, she was recognized as a Woman of Influence by the editors of Lehigh Valley Business.
