Joseph R. Kemmerling

Joseph Kemmerling is an associate attorney with the law firm. An experienced litigator, Mr. Kemmerling enjoys advocating on behalf of his clients in and out of the courtroom.

Mr. Kemmerling focuses his practice in orphans’ court litigation and civil litigation. He joined KingSpry after building his practice in a number of prominent local law firms. He handles a wide range of civil litigation matters from inception through the appellate process, if necessary. His practice includes business and real estate disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and construction liability. He also handles orphans’ court litigation, including guardianship matters and trust and estate disputes.

Deeply committed to helping others, Mr. Kemmerling volunteers with organizations serving the LGBTQ+ Community and is a member of the LGBT Chamber’s Str8 Talk committee. Additionally, Mr. Kemmerling is passionate about assisting organizations that provide supportive services to those who are trying to get back on their feet. He is a former board member of the Lehigh Valley Conference and is a current board member of Victory House, which provides housing and supportive services to individuals who are seeking assistance with obtaining permanent housing.

As a member of the Bar Associations of Lehigh and Northampton County, Mr. Kemmerling is committed to ensuring that the legal community is inclusive and responsive to the needs of all people in the Lehigh Valley.

Mr. Kemmerling graduated from Arcadia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Legal Studies. He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board.

Mr. Kemmerling has been named a top lawyer by the Morning Call for 2025 and 2026. He has been selected as a 2026 “Forty under 40” honoree by Lehigh Valley Business.
