KingSpry proudly welcomes Attorney Eric J. Filer to the practice.
Attorney Filer focuses his practice in education and bankruptcy law. He is also a member of the firm’s Investigations and Compliance Services Team and the Local Taxation and Assessment Appeals Practice.
He conducts Title VII and Title IX investigations on behalf of local school entities, as well as real estate assessment appeals. Filer is also the solicitor for the Coaldale, Lansford, Summit Hill Joint Sewer Authority.
Prior to KingSpry, Attorney Filer managed a private practice law firm, where most of his experience was in civil litigation, landlord-tenant matters, bankruptcy, real estate, business and estate work. He served a summer internship with the Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel and is also a former Judicial Clerk Intern for Judge Ashworth of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas.
He is an active volunteer with several community organizations, including the Panther Valley Irish American Association and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Filer graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his Juris Doctor with honors from Widener University School of Law.
