KingSpry congratulates Dr. Kathleen Conn, of counsel to the firm, who has been asked by the University of Alabama to serve on an Independent Advisory Board for a proposal to NSF’s EHR Core Research Solicitation to characterize the perception of engineering in rural America.
The goal of the project is to understand what K-12 students, parents, and teachers believe engineering is so that we may develop/modify STEM educational programs to provide better insight into engineering so more students choose it as a profession.
The invitation comes as a result of Dr. Conn’s participation in the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) STEM Research Group a number of years ago.
