KingSpry and Greyfriars Institute present a lunch & learn workshop on the role Progressive Discipline plays in terminating a school employee.

All employers will, at some point, need to take corrective action as part of any consistent plan of policy implementation and enforcement.  

When a corrective action is subject to challenge, the employer will need to have solid evidence to show that the employer’s decision is based on a legitimate business reason. By understanding and practicing a legally defensible disciplinary process, HR professionals can be of critical value to the businesses and agencies they serve.

In this session, you will learn from a lawyer how to properly implement and document employee discipline so that your policies, processes, and records can be useful evidence in a court or agency proceeding. There will be an opportunity to practice and get an attorney’s feedback on best practices in issue spotting and record-keeping to manage legal risk.

This event is free of charge for clients and friends, but seating is limited so registration is required.
