What Title VII Means for Your LGBT Employees POSTPONED

KingSpry and Greyfriars team up to present a look at three LGBT-related Title VII cases before the Supreme Court.
In this presentation designed for K-12 administrators and HR departments as well as higher education administrators, Dr. Kathleen Conn, of counsel, will review the conflicting decisions in the Courts of Appeals and explain the ramifications of whatever the Court decides.
The Supreme Court recently heard oral arguments in three Title VII cases brought by LGBT individuals from different parts of the country and in different occupations including a professor who was dismissed because she was gay. The Court agreed to decide whether Title VII’s protection against discrimination on the basis of sex extends to LGBT workers.
This Lunch & Learn event is free of charge for clients and friends of the firm, but seating is limited and registration is required.
