This lunch & learn workshop is free of charge, but seating is limited.
Technology brings the world to our palm, but immediate access to endless information can have its drawbacks. The headlines are filled with stories of kids who share pictures or messages with friends and dating partners, only to become the subject of ridicule, or worse, when those friendships hit the rocks.
It becomes even more complicated when administrators, teachers, coaches, or resource officers get dragged into the fray. Education attorney Jessica Moyer will discuss what school leaders need to know about the dangers of “sexting”, where your legal obligations lie, how to conduct investigations, and what to do with any evidence.
