KingSpry congratulates Karley Biggs Sebia, partner in the law firm, who has been named a 2020 “40 Under 40” honoree by Lehigh Valley Business.
The program recognizes young professionals in the Lehigh Valley who demonstrate leadership and excellence in their profession and community involvement.
Ms. Sebia is a partner with KingSpry concentrating her practice on business and real estate law. She also advises housing authorities and affordable housing entities on general legal and landlord/tenant matters. She began her career in the area of education law.
“Karley’s dedication to her law firm and our community make her an excellent candidate for this award,” said KingSpry Deputy Managing Partner Jessica Moyer in her testimonial letter to the judging committee. “Karley is the type of attorney that we should all strive to be. In our law firm, she founded and leads our Wellness Committee and is a driving force in our Associate Mentorship program. And she has a clear passion for education and children, which is evident by her selection of Boards.”
Ms. Sebia is very involved with the Northampton County Bar Association, including the Young Lawyers Division. She currently is a sitting member of the 2020 Bench Bar Committee and the Young Lawyers Division Committee. She is also a former co chair of the Holiday Hope Chest program and a member of the Board of Governors. Additionally, Ms. Sebia volunteers with many of the NCBA supported programs including Book Buddies, Law Day, the People’s Law School and the NCBA Anti-Bullying program at the Easton Area School District.
Ms. Sebia is a Trustee for the Foundation of the Bethlehem Area School District, a Trustee for Moravian Academy, and is also their Alumni Board President. She recently was appointed to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of Lehigh Valley. This year, Northampton County Executive, Lamont McClure, appointed Ms. Sebia to the Northampton County Personnel Appeals Board. She is also an active member of the Rotary Club of Bethlehem and chairs its Programming Committee.
Ms. Sebia is a graduate of Moravian Academy. She earned a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Franklin & Marshall College. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
